I found this pattern emerged when I received comments on the manuscript. First I would say to myself, "It's impossible! I have no idea how to fix that." 24 hours later an idea would come to mind. 48 hours later I'd by saying "I know what to do." Eventually I grew to trust that process.

I had known for some time that if I didn't tell this story, it would likely never be told. I also knew it was a great story because I had told it verbally to riveted audiences a number of times. However, the real inspiration came about two and half years ago when I was recovering from a car accident (hit by a drunk driver). That was the first time I realized I could draw parallels between the Pixar story and my more recent work in eastern philosophy. That really excited me, and the seed for this book was born.
