Hi - sorry I'm late getting to answer. Thank you for the praise I really appreciate it. At the moment I'm concentrating on the Satan's Devils and their various chapters. I'm hoping they'll each have a different feel, though be bound together under the same umbrella. I may write about the Wretched Soulz eventually, as that is a grittier club and I think I could have some fun with them. But that's some time off in the future.

I'm so pleased you're enjoying it, and the series is far from over! I'm currently working on a Satan's Devils MC book, but will be returning to Blood Brothers very soon. I've been persuaded to write what will probably be a novella, about Fadi and Sally, and what happened during their enforced time together. I'm looking forward to finding out what they got up to myself! :0) Hopefully this will be out before the end of the year.
And then there will be Aiza's book which I'm really looking forward to.
The King of Alair has three sons, so I'm thinking of telling their stories. And of course, Ryan will have his own book, and eventually we'll find out what favour Ben owed Mia's agent Val (Close Protection). So there's lots more to come! If you follow me on Facebook or sign up to my newsletter you can keep up to date on what I'm working on and dates of release.

Mr Darcy and Elizabeth. Although I hate them at times, I love the interplay between them.

That's a difficult question. Something sparks an idea in my head - it could be a memory of my past, something someone says, or something I see on the news. The idea seems to take root, and when I'm walking, driving, shopping or anything really, I think about it and it grows into something bigger. Usually the first idea is about a character, sometimes it's about a plot. Writing a series I've a wealth of characters to call on, so sometimes it's about getting the clarity of where I want to take the next one. We all daydream, for me it's fodder for my writing.

I have absolutely no idea why Nijad popped into my head one day and began to talk to me. Either I was going to end up in a mental hospital or I was going to write his book. And Cara, well, she decided she'd be the ideal female foil for him. Then the idea of Amahad, a fictional Arab state came to me, as the setting - romance in the desert and all that. So there we were. Stolen Lives was born.
And, of course, Nijad has brothers and bodyguards, and each began to tell me their story. So the Blood Brothers series was born.
Currently I'm planning six books in the series, but there could be more as people introduced in one book seem to have a tale to tell of their own.
Sometimes I wish the voices in my head would shut up. But I also hope they never do!

Writing romantic fiction is all about the characters and their journey to that elusive HEA. Before you put pen to paper (or keys to laptop), you should know your characters inside out. Let them talk to you in your head, get to know them as friends. Know what motivates them. Understanding your characters and where they come from will help you write their journey to where you want them to go.
For me the plot is almost secondary, and falls out of the relationship between the leads. I often think I'm mad as I listen to the voices in my head, but it helps me to write.

My second book in the Blood Brothers series is currently with the editor, so now I'm preparing the final draft of the third for editing next month. I'm also doing research for the fourth book - and have already written half of the fifth!

You're never alone! Your characters take over your head and talk constantly. LOL. And being able to spend half your life in a totally different world, fulfilling all your own fantasies.

I stop working and take my dogs for a walk! The fresh air seems to clear my head and I come up with loads of ideas. The problem is remembering them all, so I dictate those I really don't want to forget onto my phone.
