With the cameras packed up and the reality television host and their crew off to God knew where, the old woman looked at the young couple with a devilish smile, said, 'Well, you beat the other couples, won the contest, so everything we have, the houses, the land, the farm, the fortune, all you've seen this past month, it's all going to be yours... so long as you do one more thing. Kill me and my whole family and make it look like a gruesome murder.'

Greysuits began as Harry Potter in space, basically. Technology would replace magic and the technology in question would be inaccessible to most people.
From there it sort of became superheroes in space, but still with an emphasis on a group of people going through a learning process together.
The Greysuits themselves are suits made of nanobots which can do all kinds of interesting things following the mental instructions of the wearer. All that stuff took a while to work out as I was writing, but I think I ended up with something fairly believable that was able to accomplish what I needed it to for the story.
