Only one. His name is Adam, and he appears in my Regency novella THEA, a part of The de Wolfes of Esterley Castle. You can read any of my romances as standalones, including this one. Hope you'll enjoy Adam's love story with Thea!

Glad to hear that you are a fan, Evangelia! I'm afraid I don't have any couples in this upcoming series where the hero & heroine both share the same hair color. I'll admit that is very hard to find cover couples with that same combination. Artists usually look for a balance. I submit descriptions of my couples to my designer, and she finds couples who are close as we can get.
You can see ALL Dar Albert's fabulous covers for this new series on my website. I just uploaded all covers and blurbs last night:

Hope you'll also try some of my other series to see if you enjoy them. I also write other historicals (medievals and westerns) and contemporaries.
Thanks for your question!

So much, Jaime! Thanks for asking.
I'll finish up 2021 with a Christmas novella featuring Luke & Caroline St. Clair (in the collection Star of Wonder - out Nov. 11), plus the final 2 books in my western historical Sagebrush Brides series will drop (Written in the Cards Nov. 2 & Outlaw Muse Dec. 7).
2022 will be a busy year, as well!
My 7-book Regency series Second Sons of London will appear from February through August. Look for the first couple books to go on preorder in November or December.
A Regency duet with Kathryn Le Veque, Sin Like Flynn, is on preorder now and comes out in June.
Then I have a 5-book contemporary series set on the Oregon coast releasing from May through September.

I think Weston was ready for marriage--but what he learned made him go off the deep end and he did go totally wild at that point. I'm so happy you're loving my characters! Thanks for the question, Bridget.

Lauren Linwood was my first pen name. When I moved to a new publisher, they asked that I select a different pen name--thus, Alexa Aston!
I use a pen name for a little bit of privacy for my family, and I love alliteration. I have created a following as Alexa and will stick to this in the future. Right now, Alexa writes historical romance (Regency, Medieval, and Westerns) and contemporary romance.

Thanks for your question, Audrey! I became serious about my writing several years ago and signed with a small press in 2013, publishing a few standalone romances with them. I always had an urge to tell stories from the time I was young, making up stories for my dolls and stuffed animals and later with my friends, giving them names and stories to act out. I had finished my teaching career and wanted to pursue another chapter in my life.
Since I enjoy reading series, I decided to try my hand at one and published the first of ten books in my Knights of Honor series in late 2016, wrapping up that series in 2018. Since that first medieval romance series, I've also written Regencies, western historicals, and even contemporary romance with my Hollywood Name Game series. I'm fortunate to have two publishers, Dragonblade Publishing and Oliver-Heber Books.
I write not only because it's creatively satisfying but because I want to entertain readers as so many wonderful authors have entertained me over the years. I love being swept away in stories, learning new things, being taken to far-off places as I become lost in reading. I'm thrilled I'm able to take readers on a journey in my various series.

Hands down, it's Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall from Diana Gabaldon's OUTLANDER. They truly have a love story that is for the ages, crossing time and distance. I've enjoyed reading the entire series over the years, and I think Starz did an amazing job when they cast the actors portraying my favorite couple!

I'm a history buff and was watching a documentary on POWs in Vietnam. It got me to thinking about how awful it was for these men to be separated from their families for so many years, but it was also very hard on those families back home.
I decided to write about a couple (Geoffrey and Merryn) who were separated due to circumstances beyond their control and then play around with what would happen to them as people and their relationship as a couple once they were reunited.

I'm juggling two different projects right now. The first is completing my Knights of Honor series, set in medieval England. The other is a contemporary trilogy that takes place in Hollywood. I know--they couldn't be more different!
Alexa Aston
Absolutely, you must write every day. Writing is like using your muscles. You don't want to get out of shape!
Alexa Aston
The best thing about writing is creating wonderful characters and getting to go on their journeys with them.
Alexa Aston
My answer is simple--walk it out. Some writers dream plots. Others come up with storylines in the shower (I'm too busy singing to do that!).
I love to walk. The more I pound the pavement, the clearer things become to me. I walk every morning and try to plot out what I'll write that day. Sometimes, though, I've gotten stuck in the middle of the afternoon. My husband laughs as I come downstairs and put my walking shoes on to go out and try to come up with what's next!
