Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Alexa Aston I'm a history buff and was watching a documentary on POWs in Vietnam. It got me to thinking about how awful it was for these men to be separated from their families for so many years, but it was also very hard on those families back home.

I decided to write about a couple (Geoffrey and Merryn) who were separated due to circumstances beyond their control and then play around with what would happen to them as people and their relationship as a couple once they were reunited.
