Hi Sarah! Thanks for reading Rafferty Lincoln Loves... and I’m so pleased you enjoyed the book. I changed the cover image ideas a few times. I liked the idea of origami and this fits with the characters of Rafferty and Tallie. In the novel he uses the old newspaper clipping so I had the newspaper printed and then folded into the origami Horse. It was very satisfying to make!

The best thing is getting all those thoughts tumbling around in my head, down in writing. It's a dream I've always had since primary school and I'm so glad I have got to fulfill that dream and actually finish and enjoy writing the novel.

I'm currently editing my novel 'Letters to Eloise'. It has been through several rounds of proof readers and now I'm double checking the last changes. Then it needs a final proof read and the typesetting completed and double checked again. In the meanwhile, as I find editing very back breaking and time consuming, I have spent time on a little stop motion animation book trailer to cheer me up that the end product is nearly here!!

Writers block for me is mainly a block about actually sitting down and picking up the laptop. After managing that, then reading through a chapter or two of the novel, usually the thoughts come tumbling out and the block is gone. That said, now the novel is complete, I am having a bit of a block about the next novel! The idea for this one just came to me, so hopefully inspiration will hit very soon for the next!
