Thanks for reading Rafferty Lincoln Loves... and I’m so pleased you enjoyed the book. I changed the cover image ideas a few times. I liked the idea of origami and this fits with the characters of Rafferty and Tallie. In the novel he uses the old newspaper clipping so I had the newspaper printed and then folded into the origami Horse. It was very satisfying to make!(less)

After managing that, then reading through a chapter or two of the novel, usually the thoughts come tumbling out and the block is gone. That said, now the novel is complete, I am having a bit of a block about the next novel! The idea for this one just came to me, so hopefully inspiration will hit very soon for the next!(less)

“The feeling of abandonment overwhelmed me as I realised that no one had waited, or cared where I was.”
Emily Williams, Letters to Eloise

“Sometimes there are people in this world that you meet. Most of these people remain just that, passing acquaintances that further down the line you will struggle to remember their names, let alone picture their faces and it all fades into a distant past almost like a dissolving aspirin. Some acquaintances become friends, but again these come and go with only a few remaining consistent. However, occasionally you will meet someone that changes who you are and who you will become.”
Emily Williams, Letters to Eloise

“Sometimes you just need the comforts of home, the familiarity of your own family bed and only the pampering a mother can do.”
Emily Williams, Letters to Eloise
