Emily Williams Hi Sarah! Thanks for reading Rafferty Lincoln Loves... and I’m so pleased you enjoyed the book. I changed the cover image ideas a few times. I liked the idea of origami and this fits with the characters of Rafferty and Tallie. In the novel he uses the old newspaper clipping so I had the newspaper printed and then folded into the origami Horse. It was very satisfying to make!
