Hi Margie, I'm so sorry I missed your question.
Finding balance is a real big problem for me and something I struggle with daily. With the start of 2022 it has become my goal. I depend heavily on my planner and force myself to turn the computer off to spend time with family.
I take a long road trip every July with my husband and often there is limited or no cell/wifi so I'm forced to take a break. That time away really recharges my batteries.

I’m currently working on Forever Blue, book 2 in The Weight of the Badge series. As this book is a continuation of Family of Blue, my goal is to release this story earlier than scheduled, hopefully before January 2021.

The best advice I received from multiple authors is, just write. You can’t edit something you haven’t written.
I’ve learned to write down my ideas. Sometimes it’s complete gibberish and I have to decipher it later but the idea is now on paper giving me options. Now I can use it by molding it into a scene or maybe scrap it altogether. Either way, because I wrote the words, I can do something with it. So, write.
