I like this question because it is embarrassing. I started writing fiction for the first time after reading the last book of Suzanne Collins' "Gregor the Overlander" series. I really, really loved that series, but, like "Hunger Games", I wanted a different ending, so I sat down and wrote *gulp* a fanfic! And I really enjoyed writing it! In fact, "Not Alone" started out as a youth novel (like "Gregor") rather than YA.

Summer 2020? I love C.S. Forrester who is most famous for his Horatio Hornblower series, but who also wrote a lot of good historical novels including "The Good Shepherd". I want to read a lot more of his lesser-known books. I also like WWII books since my father was a P51 fighter pilot based in Iwo Jima.
