The Curious Case of Peter Gray. Who is the author behind the pen name?
And yes, it is indeed a spin-off to H.P. Lovecraft's 'The Curious Case of Charles Dexter Ward.' A favourite of mine, and one that I highly recommend if you enjoy a chilling read.

Hello Stella :) Thank you for reaching out to me. I have a few books lined up in the future. An historical romance called "At Peace" should come out at the end of December (fingers crossed). I am currently working on "Far from Home" book two and three. It is very likely that "Far from Home: Book Two" will come out near Halloween in the year 2022. I am also working on a really dark Gothic Horror novel with ghosts, a haunted house, and a very terrified servant, but the book title will be kept a secret for now. On a final note, I am rewriting a high fantasy novel set in the Medieval period that has a lot to do with magic. It will probably be uploaded on a free website for readers, such as HiNovel or Webnovel (though I am leaning more to towards Webnovel). I hope that answers your question. Oh! And my b-day is February 13th, which is the same day that Victoria Reeds goes missing in my book "Far from Home." If you want to read the book it is available for free on Google Play. Happy reading!

Hello! In my spare time I like to write fan-fiction for Game of Thrones, Star Trek Discovery, and most recently the film, Knives Out. The stories generally fall into the sci-fi genre, but at other times I place the characters in a historical setting to dive into a lot of social justice issues that were prevalent during that time period. I hope that helps,
Peter

She stood in front of a gravestone. Startled that it was her own.

I tend to write a lot of stories at once. One of the projects I am really enjoying is a medieval fantasy genre that deals with themes of fate and destiny. It is a question that I ponder over quite often, so I decided to write a story about a young girl that tests fate and a prophecy that she earnestly fights against. It is a romance story, of course, something I am enjoying profusely.

I write daily, preferably in the early morning. The things that inspire me to write are long walks in nature, music, and reading stories that inspire me to write my own work. Writing comes naturally to me, but that does not necessarily mean that I have motivation 100% of the time. Sometimes I need to take a break from writing all together, so I immerse myself with the good company of family and friends, which ultimately gives me enough inspiration to sit down and come to terms with my own feelings and experiences through writing.

For my story "Cursed" it was inspired by my love of folklore concerning werewolves. I wrote it for the week leading up to Halloween, so I consider it to be a romantic, gothic horror type genre. The setting was inspired by the woodlands where I live, and I suppose "Blackthorn Camp Ground" was based off areas I used to visit during my childhood.

Stay true to yourself. Follow your heart. Write stories that are deeply meaningful to you. Use your own voice and do not feel the need to copy your favourite authors. When I first started out many years ago I was fixated on using fancy words and imitating other authors writing styles, but as time went by I was able to find my own voice. This comes with experience of course, as well as confidence. If you desire to write your own story and publish it, well, it is a beautiful dream that is truly achievable if you work hard enough for it.

The freedom, I suppose. There aren't many occupations where you can sit in front of a desk and create a dream world. It is a form of escapism. I enjoy my life, but sometimes it is nice to slip into a character and transfer myself into a new world.
The ability to connect with the readers is something I enjoy as well. Often times they have great insight into a character or situation that has never crossed my mind. As a writer I can have tunnel vision, but the reader fortunately can see everything. There is no detail lost to them, and I enjoy that experience of them sharing their insight or opinions with me.

I would like to visit 221B Baker Street. It would be nice to have a cup of tea and a nice chat with Sherlock Holmes and his roommate Watson. I would not mind him making deductions based on my apparel and way of speech. It would be quite amusing really.
The "Game of Thrones" world would be nice as well, but with George R.R. Martin in charge, I suppose I wouldn't last a day.

This period of lock-down has allowed me to start my summer reading list rather early. I intend to read Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray," as well as finishing up the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. If fortune is on my side I will reread Charlotte Brontë's "Jane Eyre" and "The Professor." I am also interested in finding some books on Celtic history and the history of Scotland and the Gaelic language. Some of it is for research purposes, and others for pleasure. It is still spring time, so my reading list might change as the months go by.

I very rarely get writer's block. If it does occur, I will implement a few strategies to get myself inspired to write again. Long walks in nature will activate the creative part of my mind to devise a few new scenes to my story. Occasionally, I will take lengthy breaks for about a week or so, and then return to it with fresh eyes. Another strategy I utilize is simply calling up my writer friend and discussing the plot line with her. Sometimes an outsider's prospective can shed light onto the plot-line, and encourage me to write more until I am out of the "writer's block" mode.
