Goodreads asked Peter Gray:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Peter Gray I very rarely get writer's block. If it does occur, I will implement a few strategies to get myself inspired to write again. Long walks in nature will activate the creative part of my mind to devise a few new scenes to my story. Occasionally, I will take lengthy breaks for about a week or so, and then return to it with fresh eyes. Another strategy I utilize is simply calling up my writer friend and discussing the plot line with her. Sometimes an outsider's prospective can shed light onto the plot-line, and encourage me to write more until I am out of the "writer's block" mode.
