Sorry, turns out that I turned on the "Ask the Author" feature and Goodreads never alerts me when I get a question! I only just saw this ... but the schedule for the Cupids novels has always been: Book 1, Fall 2019; Book 2, Fall 2021; Book 3, Fall 2023. Volume 3, A Company of Rogues, will be out in Fall 2023.

Most of my research was done in books and online, because of course what I really needed to know was not so much what Brooklyn is like now (though that's helpful too), but what it was like in the 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s. I loved the short time I spent there and have always wanted to go back. Both my parents lived in Brooklyn briefly in the 1950s, living with older family members who had moved there long before. Newfoundlanders have such strong roots there, and yet that Newfoundland presence has almost completely vanished from Brooklyn's history.

Oh, I hope you enjoy the book. At one time about 75,000 (estimated) first and second-generation Newfoundlanders lied in Brooklyn, including many people in my mother's family. I love Brooklyn though I haven't been able to spend as much time there as I would have liked.
