Hi Darren,
I don't do any actual soliciting for ARC readers. However, my publisher regularly makes ARCs available through NetGalley.com. The ARC for The Spartan Sacrifice is not available yet, but I would imagine it will be up in a few more months.
Cheers,
Andrew

Although The Mongol Ascension is available on NetGalley now, it still has a publication date of 2024. Publishers have their own internal timelines and schedules that they follow. And I'm glad you liked the cover!

There are two types of writers--plotters and pantsers. Plotters carefully plot all their ideas and characters out in advance, and then just flesh out the details. Pantsers just start typing and see where the story takes them. (They write by the seat of their pants) I'm definitely a pantser. When I first started the series, I knew the main three characters: Dan, Sam, and Victor, and I knew that the first book would be 1066, but everything else I just kind of made up on the go. In some cases I did take a wrong turn from a story perspective, and I'd end up with the writing equivalent of painting myself into a corner, but I would then back it out and go ahead in a different direction.

Just write. A lot of aspiring writers are hesitant to write. They want to craft the perfect story in their head first, and only put fingers to keyboard once they are confident that they have visualized the ultimate masterpiece. But writing is like painting, just because I can visualize the Mona Lisa doesn't mean I can paint it. All art takes a lot of practice and a lot of mistakes.

The seventh and final book in my series.

I find that two things usually provide inspiration for my writing:
1) Long drives. The tedium of staring at endless asphalt makes my mind wander. And those wanderings usually lead to story ideas.
2) Music. I've always been heavily inspired by the mood and theme of songs. In fact, I've found that with my current series, a certain song became the inspiration for each book following the first one. (There was no song for the first book.) If I ever got in a rut, I could turn on the specific song and get inspired again.
