Hello,
There are all standalones so you can pick the one you want! Mostly depends on what you prefer.
-Tea Master and the Detective: mystery and unlikely detective duo
-Red Station, Drifting: familial politics & power dynamics on a civil war background
-Seven of Infinities: mystery, heist and a strong romance between a sentient spaceship and a poor scholar

It really depends now what you'd prefer reading!
If you want:
-Gothic dark fantasy: the Dominion of the Fallen series (start with House of Shattered Wings)
-sapphic romantic fantasy: Fireheart Tiger
-dark science fantasy: in the Vanishers' Palace
In general if you prefer epic fantasy I'd recommend starting with Dominion of the Fallen, if you prefer something a little more focused on the relationships between the characters (and with a strong romance focus), I'd recommend Fireheart Tiger (TW: abuse, implicit rape attempt)

hiya,
It really depends now what you'd prefer reading!
If you want:
-Gothic dark fantasy: the Dominion of the Fallen series (start with House of Shattered Wings)
-Vietnamese space opera: the Xuya series. They're all standalone, I usually recommend starting with Tea Master and the Detective as it's been the most successful one
-sapphic romantic fantasy: Fireheart Tiger

Hi,
I can't give a precise date but I can confirm there is going to be one very soon--we are currently working on it. More details when I have them.

Hi Claire,
You can buy the Uncanny Magazine issue it's appeared in, here: https://www.amazon.com/Uncanny-Magazi...
It's also available for free on their website: http://uncannymagazine.com/article/ch...
(though buying the issue is nicer to them as they paid me money to publish this and any money they're paid allows them to pay more authors like me!).

Hi,
There are a couple of books available in Spanish from Fata Libelli: El Ciclo de Xuya, En una Estacion Roja a la Deriva. You can buy from them or on amazon, though they're ebooks only.

Hi, awfully sorry for the delay, real life intervened in a rather massive fashion...
There's no way to get these together at the moment, sorry. (I'm not planning on making an anthology at the moment and the only existing ones are in Spanish and in Finnish). I do maintain a webpage with a list of them, and links to those that are online (which would be most of them), here: http://aliettedebodard.com/bibliograp...

Hi Miriam,
Sorry for the late reply... Glad you enjoyed O&B. Most of the series I can think of are not finished, but TL Morganfield's Bone Flower Throne series is almost complete (she's working on book three and is going to put it out shortly). I also loved Kate Elliott's Spiritwalker series, which is a very different alternate history where the Phoenician Empire never fell and deals with mages who can channel cold or heat. And Elizabeth Bear's Eternal Sky is epic fantasy set in a Silk Road setting: I also love her New Amsterdam series, which has more of a mystery/alternate history/magic feel and was a major inspiration for O&B.

Hi Trish,
No plans for a collection yet (the only existing one is in Spanish, El Ciclo de Xuya). I have written longer stories set in that universe: On a Red Station Drifting (available as ebook), and The Citadel of Weeping Pearls (Asimov's Oct/Nov, going to be reprinted in Dozois's Year's Best), and I hope to tackle a mosaic novel one day.

Hi Oskar, I will definitely put up an ebook edition of Obsidian and Blood, but right now I need to put it together (I just got the rights back and was busy with promo for the new book)? I'll post updates when things move forward.

Oops, sorry, I missed this one. I would like to put together an anthology at some point, but right now I'm focusing on other projects :)

Hi Shaina,
Thank you for dropping by, and I'm glad you enjoyed the series! Currently I'm not planning to write any more books in it--I worked in the universe for close to five years and I felt in need of a break!
There are other authors working with Mesoamerican elements in SFF: the ones that come to mind are T.L Morganfield, who has written epic historical fantasy (The Bone Flower Throne & The Bone Flower Queen) as well as alternate history and romance; Marella Sands (Sky Knife and Serpent & Storm). In the mystery genre there is Simon Levacs, who writes the adventures of Yaotl, an emancipated slave in pre-Fall Tenochtitlan. Can I also recommend Miguel Leon-Portilla's The Language of Kings, which isn't genre per se, but is a great survey of indigenous literature from the 15th Century to the modern era? (and his "Broken Spears" is a masterful account of the conquest of Mexico seen through Mexica eyes).
Hope this helps?
