Wow...I can't believe I'm only seeing this message now! Any other questions you have please message me on facebook for a faster response. Druid Vampire should be read first. Then the sequel "Druid Vampire Requiem". Vampire Punk is a stand-alone spin-off story that can be read any time. But technically the events in Vampire Punk happen after Druid Vampire. Cheers!

Well, there's the "mystery" of who I was in my past life. I have an idea I was definitely Japanese though. I knew how to do Japanese brush painting without having ever done it before, just picked up the brush, held it in the correct position naturally, dipped it in the black ink, and started to paint bamboo, monkeys and cranes with ease.

The dark elf, Drizzt Do'Urden and the human female Catti-brie, from The Dark Elves Trilogy, and then The Icewind Dale Trilogy where Catti-brie first makes her appearance. I have a thing for couples where opposites attract. Also, there's the whole 'forbidden love' aspect to their relationship because of the prejudice that Drizzt faces from being a dark elf that must be overcome before they can be together. In the end, true love conquers all.

I think the best thing about being a writer is that you're never alone. Even when you're physically alone...your original characters are inside of your head with ideas for new adventures they want to go on and new romances they want to risk everything for.

My advice is not to let constructive criticism get you down. Everyone has to start somewhere with their writing skills and they will only improve over time - the more you read and write. It's very good practice to just write short books and publish them and see how they're received. That way you can start seeing what people liked about your books and what they didn't like and improve accordingly. The best advice I received was: "Write what you know".

I read a lot and I end up finding myself thinking about how I would have written the ending if I don't like it. When I watch movies...I tend to rewrite the endings in my mind if I don't like the way they ended either. At this point, the thought comes to my head: "I should just write a love story the way it should be written...with more action, elves, magic etc." and the books sort of evolves on its own.

I was eating a piece of chocolate and was thinking to myself: "What is better, a good looking guy, chocolate...or both. Definitely both." Hence the book I'm working on about a sexy chocolatier.

Right now I'm working on a spinoff stand alone novel featuring my original character, Tristan Savant, a demon chocolatier. I wanted to have the book ready for Christmas...but I'm cutting it close! I still have some editing to do. Keeps fingers crossed.

Rather than "writer's block" I tend to get "multiple idea block" which I think is even more annoying. It ends up being something like this: "Well, my OC Tristan can end up being kidnapped and taken to Hell by his demon mother Lilith....or his dead ex-girlfriend Hazel could be the one to kidnap him out of jealousy...or Samael could be the one to kidnap him since he wants to please Lilith" From those 3 options there are a series of events that would end up taking place depending on which option I end up choosing. lol. I always wonder if I chose the right "path" for my characters. Sometimes, I have their path written down, but they take some detours before they get back on track.
