How do you deal with writer’s block?

KuroKoneko Kamen Rather than "writer's block" I tend to get "multiple idea block" which I think is even more annoying. It ends up being something like this: "Well, my OC Tristan can end up being kidnapped and taken to Hell by his demon mother Lilith....or his dead ex-girlfriend Hazel could be the one to kidnap him out of jealousy...or Samael could be the one to kidnap him since he wants to please Lilith" From those 3 options there are a series of events that would end up taking place depending on which option I end up choosing. lol. I always wonder if I chose the right "path" for my characters. Sometimes, I have their path written down, but they take some detours before they get back on track.
