When you read your own book it can be fun. Sometimes, if you allow enough time after you have written a book, it seems fresh and new!

Hello, and thanks for posting. You can ask me a question if you like. I'm in The U.S.A.

A real piggy! I was gazing out of the window one night and saw her in our garden. She had run away from a neighbor's house. I fed her for several nights until our neighbors came to collect her.
Of course, I was also inspired by Beatrix Potter's children's books, A. A. Milne's whimsical Piglet, and the magical animal stories of Rudyard Kipling. One reviewer has compared Luna The Moon Pig to Babe, and I am so delighted!
Thanks for your question, Jessica.

I wrote my romance novel in 2014. I focus on children's books. But I'm delighted people still continue to admire my romance novel.

Hello, Damiana,
Thank you for your question.
Just read what you enjoy. Read in a group or with a friend. Help each other. Have fun. Share, and talk about what you read.
If you have an English teacher, ask for help.
Enjoy reading, and Good Luck! Suzy.

Not yet! :) I'm in a very busy reading and writing phase :) But it is on my list!

I think that you need to ask a teacher where you are to help you. Roald Dahl is good for adults and children. My book is more difficult to read than Roald Dahl's because it is for teens or adults :) Very nice hearing from you! Best Wishes, Suzy.

Hi, I have taught English in S.Korea and lived there for quite a while, so I understand Korean Culture. I think you may enjoy "Milla Takes Charge," by Erin Soderberg. It's based on Disney Princesses. You may like my book (only on Smashwords) "The Cave," which is an adventure with Thai Mythology about a princess, woven into the story!
Happy Reading and lovely hearing from you! :)

I am busy writing my Snugs Series, so I will focus on that! I plan to read some children's books, and to revisit some old favorites in different genres! Wait and see!

I am writing a mystery/paranormal novel at the moment, which takes the motif of a Lapis Lazuli ring from my first novel, "Johari's Window," and weaves a plot around it. To disclose any of the mysteries of the ring's powers would spill out secrets before the book is released.

My favorite fictional couple are of my own creation! Snugs has a girlfriend later on in The Snugs Series, and her name is Snowflake. They complement each other beautifully! Snowflake makes a feisty match for my courageous, but sensitive hero, Snugs.

Yes, you can order it from home, online through Waterstones. However, it may take a little longer than Amazon in the U.K. If you order through Amazon, it's eligible for free delivery, too! Happy Reading! Best Wishes, Suzy.

My most recent book, "Snugs The Snow Bear," Book One of my children's series - "The Snugs Series," is inspired by the magical optical illusion of "The Isle of Wight Polar Bear," which is best viewed from the Southbourne area of Bournemouth Beach, in Dorset, England.

I started out writing as a hobby. Now, it is almost a full time occupation. I believe you need to commit yourself to several years of very hard work to achieve your goal, if you wish to become a professional writer. My advice would be, if you are young, start now. If you are of mature years, don't be discouraged - start now. I think all writers "have" to write because they have something to say to the world. Just make certain you say it well. I believe writers are good observers and listeners. The world watches, and waits, and listens for new voices. With a little bit of luck on your side, hard work, marketing savvy, steely commitment to your job, and a strong self-belief, you may be heard! Just be someone who doesn't give up, and aspires to getting better and better.

I have completed Book One of "Snugs The Snow Bear," the first book in "The Snugs Series." This book has just launched. I am delighted with it!
Books Two and Three are ready to be illustrated! I am in the process of planning Book Four.
I also have one or two more books in the pipeline!

I don't really believe in writer's block. Either you want to write or you don't. People stop writing when they lose the joy of it for its own sake.

The movement of a journey- sitting on a train or a bus - tends to get my brain in a whirring creative mode. I sometimes tune in to other passengers and make up scenarios about them, or I zone out, and let my imagination do the work. Plane journeys are good fuel for my writing, too! There's something surreal about them, and anything is possible.

Doing what I love. And sometimes, solitude.
