I would go to Quisby, Alabama to meet Redneck P.I. Twila Taunton and her quirky friends.

My upcoming romantic suspense novel Scorpio's Sting was inspired by a friend getting a call from her brother to say an Illegal Mexican guy who worked for him was trying to get his wife into the US and the cartels had asked for $3k more or they would leave her to die in the desert.

Favorite of all time are Rhett Butler and Scarlet O'Hara. My contemporary favorites change all the time. I'm currently enjoying Drew McBain and Neelie Nelson in my soon-to-be-released novel Scorpios Sting.

I'd love you to review it. Will email you. Thank you!

Sounds like a book I would enjoy. I'll put it on my to read list. I have an online self-help and editing business for indie writers, and I'm currently slammed with a very large MSS to edit plus a copywriting job, but I'll definitely get to read Endangered in the not too far distant future.

Pamela,
Thanks so much for reaching out. It really does sound like we have a lot in common.
My very first published novel, Way Out of Line is set in the US and Mozambique, with a little mention of Zimbabwe, and my most recent story, Virgo's Vice is set 'somewhere in Zimbabwe,' but it doesn't really address much about Africa.
It hurt too much for me to write in depth about the beautiful country I had to leave up to now, but I have finally made a start on a story set almost entirely in Zimbabwe, starting with the farm grabs, which is still happening today. Bands of armed government-backed thugs go onto people's farms and take them by force, giving the owners a couple of hours to leave their family homes forever. They often shoot the dogs and hamstring the cattle, while the horses are left to starve. It's very sad, and it's definitely worth bringing attention to the situation. Ivory poaching and rhinos having their horns hacked off while they are still alive is also actually taking place, so this will not be a story for wimps.
I love the fact that you are a real life PI and include animal characters. I'll buy one of your books--I'm sure I'll love them. Is there one in particular you'd like to have reviewed?
