Mortician and Gomez Addams.
After three kids, they're still deeply in love and still totally devoted to each other. They support one another without question. They're great parents and they're all about family.
Their interests may be hilariously gothy and almost everything they do is totally abnormal, but they're the power couple we should all aspire to be.

I don't.
I've spent years having no time to write, but that's not the same as not being able to. If I sit at a keyboard with a cup of tea and the intention to write, then writing happens.
It may be godawful writing, but by golly, it's writing.

The best thing is that slightly glazed look of despair that enters the eyes of whoever you're talking to, when you say the words "I'm a self-published author".
It's a great way to get out of boring conversations.

Write. Write every day. Write as much as you can. Read over it when you're done and obsess about it. Take classes on literary analysis if you can, and hammer that process into your head so that you can dissect your own work.
Believe that your work has merit and deserves to be published, while simultaneously believing that it's crap and has to be improved or everyone is going to laugh at you.
You will spend about 20-50% of your time feeling insane. Talk to other writers so you don't feel alone in that respect.
Drink tea. It helps, don't ask me why.

I'm working on the sequel to The Meldling, called The Nameless Knight. It continues the story of Suzanna and her companions as they try to track down and capture the evil sorcerer who created her.

Mostly I don't. I sit down, and bash the keyboard for a while, and somehow writing is produced. It's an odd process where the random ideas I constantly have floating around in my mind are forged into something resembling coherent prose.
It's less about being inspired and more about needing to empty my brain so I can do normal things like sleeping and talking.

That's like asking me where I get my ideas from, and the answer is that I just don't know.
I suspect that my ability to generate ideas is directly proportional to the amount of tea I drink on a daily basis. Such is the power of caffeine and sugar.
