You can get them from me on my website http://books.dragonweir.com, from Amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com. You may be able to order them from Olivet (on the corner near Blue Phoenix) although they specialize in religious books. I am going to try to set up a book signing there in April but haven't as of yet. Let me know what you want and I might be able to cut a deal. You can email me at author@dragonweir.com

Not as of this time. They are based either in Michigan where I spend my summers or the Caribbean.

Luckily this hasn't happened often. I have been fortunate to usually have another book in the works and can switch gears. The sticky point lies in the back of my head and somehow I work my way through it. My biggest block came with my first book The Body in the Perch Pond because, and this sounds crazy to some, the bad guy wouldn't let me into his head to figure out why he had done what he did. Finally he did and bingo ... the book rushed to completion.

For me, it is seeing the book in its final form. I was thrilled just the other day when I received my proof copy of The Body Beneath the Bridge. I had seen the cover but seeing it in the flesh so to speak, gave me a chill.

I have just received the proof copy of The Body Beneath the Bridge, the sequel to The Body Under the Ice. (I will be gving away two copies when it is published.) I am putting the finishing touches on Payback is Bitter Vengeance, the third book in my Payback trilogy. It is with a couple of my proofreaders and should be published by the end of November at the latest.

I judge this is about my books because I have written all my life. As a teenager, I wrote short stories for Boys LIfe. Don't think any were ever published. I was a mathematics professor and wrote research papers, several about the history of my specialilty. In retirement, we spend our summers on the shore of Hubbard Lake in the "Up North" part of Michigan (the upper part of the lower peninsula). I joined the local sportsman group (Hubbard Lake Sportsman & Improvement Association) and my first event (other than a meeting) was helping to clear rocks from the dry bottom of a farmer's so that he could safely plow the bottom and plant rye grass to feed and shelter young perch we were to harvest and take to Hubbard Lake at the end of the summer. The pond was made by an earthen work dam and I thought "What if a body was buried there." That was the genesis of The Body in the Perch Pond.

My most recent published book is The Witches of Hibbard Corners. In February 2013, I was at a book signing at Barnes and Nobles in Montrose OH (suburb of Akron OH) and sitting next to Sherri Brake who writes about historical books about haunted places. We were discussing my latest book Muddy Waters, which I wrote for young adults. Sherri said if I wanted to get young adult readers I should write about vampires. I had no interest in vampires but the thought persisted and about a month later the thought came to me, "What is four witches were out on the late winter's ice having a summoning ceremony ..." Well, you'll have to read the book to find the answer.
