Hi Julie! Thank you for writing. I don't have a website, but starting with Book 4 I did include a pronunciation guide at the beginning of the novel. You weren't the first reader who struggled with the names and asked for it. I'm glad you are enjoying the books! I write them as a hobby, not a career, and I do look forward to seeing what Will and Bronwyn get up to in the future. I don't always decide that; they tend to have minds of their own.

In 1896, my great-grandfather was murdered as he walked to work, shot by a neighbor and buried alive. When I was thinking of a plot for my fifth Llangynog mystery, I remembered his story and tossed it around in my head until I came up with a modern plot where a farmer walking home from his fields at dinnertime was murdered in a similar fashion. My grandmother's memories of that time (she was five when it happened) gave me details that I incorporated into the aftermath of the murder.

Summer's over, but this fall I've been excited about Bernard Cornwell's final book in the Saxon Chronicles series - my favorite series ever! I also eagerly awaited the new Robert Galbraith novel and Ken Follett's prequel to "Pillars of the Earth." I've ordered them all and can't wait for a snowy afternoon's reading session by the fire.

I have always been a storyteller, from the time I was very young. Writing is one of my favorite hobbies now, and I look forward to the cold winter months when I can't get outdoors much because that means it's my writing season. My readers also encourage me with their positive comments.

Love your stories. If you are excited about them, you'll finish writing them.

I get to enjoy a fictional life in a country I love, but don't get to visit often enough. I'm also excited about my characters, and I'm always eager to see where the next chapter takes them.

The hardest thing for me as a writer is to come up with a plausible murder that can happen in the tiny village of Llangynog, so my writer's block mostly occurs when I'm planning a new book. I spend a lot of time walking, riding my bicycle, and going for long drives in the car. When my husband asks how I'm doing when I'm quiet for a while, I tell him I'm thinking about murder. I'm always thinking about my next book, and sooner or later I come up with an idea I like.

I am currently editing the 4th Llangynog book and running ideas around in my mind for the 5th book in the series, which I will write this winter. Look for book #3 in late January and #4 in May.

I visited a manor house while in Wales and wanted to create a story centered on modern minor royalty in the UK.
