Hi Jeffrey. The first four novels introduce the main players of the series to date. There will be a few crucial new characters in the sixth and final book of the series, Immortal Destiny, which is scheduled for release in 2017. The next novel, Immortal Origins, will explore the backstory of the immortal races and show how and why they became what they are today. Immortal Origins will be released in 2016. I am also planning a spin-off novella series based in the world of Seventeen.

Greene's Calling is the third novel in the series Seventeen. As one reviewer said, there is a red thread that connects all the books in the series. As such I knew what this book had to be about, ever since I plotted out the entire series a couple of novels back.

Although inspiration is important, a career writer needs to learn to conform to "office hours". By this, I mean that you should just sit down and write, whenever you can. You cannot wait until you're "in the mood", not if you want to be successful at this.
When I do sit down to write, I usually have a hot or cold drink next to me and I listen to the music playlist for the book, which I compile while I'm still thinking about the plot.

Do your research about the publishing industry. The writing community is generally warm and welcoming, so don't be afraid to ask questions: we were all beginners at one point. Don't sign any contract without getting it looked at by an intellectual property lawyer. Do NOT expect overnight success. If you're in this for the long haul, expect to work hard at it. It will take several books before you start to see any significant career growth. The only genre in which you could possibly start to earn faster than average is romance.

Being allowed to let your imagination run free and sharing the inner workings of your mind with the outside world. In the hope that they don't think you're bat shit crazy.

I tend not to call it writer's block. If I get "stuck" while writing a book, it means that I've taken the wrong path somewhere in the plot or I've missed something important about a character. This happened halfway through writing Greene's Calling. Once I figured out what the problem was (in this instance, I had failed to make Conrad as emotionally involved as he should be in the mission), I went back and fixed it. It took about a week. The story flowed again from there on.
