The free coffee at every local Starbucks. Kidding (I wish)!
I love how writing is a mix of therapy, displaying your soul to the world, and straight-out art.

I don't. Inspiration finds me. I can go for months without writing. I never force it.
At most, when my muse is ignoring me, I'll go through my works-in-progress and do technical corrections.

Keep a journal. Get accustomed to writing your feelings and what you observe, as well as satire and sarcasm. If you have children, get them started early on a diary or a journal - even if it's just signing their name and saying hi. Make it part of their routine.
I started my first diary when I was 6 and started a collection of many diaries, which I always went back to when I needed someone to talk to about anger or something good that's happened to me. By the time I was 9, my teacher at school liked how well I could express my feelings.
In my opinion, emotions are the foundation of great writing.
Also, READ. Read a lot. Read everything. Read newspaper articles. Read Shakespeare. Read Stephen King. Read romance. Read YA. Read fantasy. The more you read, the better you write - always.

Many popular authors will tell you they don't believe in writer's block. Personally, I think it happens when I push myself too much, which in turns stresses me out, which in turn makes my creative processes come to a screeching halt.
When I am unable to create, I have to step away from my laptop and my notebook. I have to get some fresh air, go to Starbucks, watch some favorite movies and/or listen to music. I let my mind relax a little, and right when I'm the most relaxed (usually when I'm trying to fall asleep), that's when a new idea will hit me.
I'm fortunate in that I don't usually have deadlines. That helps my stress level a lot.
