Goodreads asked Chrissy Moon:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Chrissy Moon Many popular authors will tell you they don't believe in writer's block. Personally, I think it happens when I push myself too much, which in turns stresses me out, which in turn makes my creative processes come to a screeching halt.

When I am unable to create, I have to step away from my laptop and my notebook. I have to get some fresh air, go to Starbucks, watch some favorite movies and/or listen to music. I let my mind relax a little, and right when I'm the most relaxed (usually when I'm trying to fall asleep), that's when a new idea will hit me.

I'm fortunate in that I don't usually have deadlines. That helps my stress level a lot.
