Thank you, for asking Lynda.
I don't advise to comment on every review at Amazon because Amazon's various algorithms might interprets these actions in some weird ways, but certainly, authors should acknowledge every "remarkable" review. Reviewers will appreciate the gesture.
As for Goodreads: It's every author's call. I comment on many reviews on Goodreads because it's a good way to connect with readers.

I am sorry I saw your question so late, I am busy finishing up a book, which (amazingly) deals with exactly this question.
Therefore my answer. What are you invested in and what do you want to be invested in? Obviously your book is already published. KIrkus liked it, so it is great book.
Was that it? a) Did you just want to prove to yourself that could write a great book, which got proven and verified with a positive Kirkus review. or b) Is this book like your baby and you want it to grow up so gets to be seen (and read) in my homes? If so, you'll have to promote. Even star authors go on promotional book tours, everybody has to do it. If you are invested into a) you did it. You are done. If you are invested into b) your job isn't done yet.
The question if you'll write another book or not is not even relevant. I think you should first ponder whether it's a) or b) then finalize these efforts and the question if you'll write another book or not can wait.
Please let me know what you'll be doing. I am eager to find out. There is no rush though.
As always, Gisela (less)

Why Jeff Bezos "Flywheel"-concept doesn't work for Amazon anymore

These days, the Internet presents hundreds of articles, blogs, videos, courses etc. praising Jeff Bezos’ “Flywheel Theory” — the concept that

“taking care of customers” by offering a best selection of products at a fair price inevitably increases customer traffic and sales, which leads to more sellers flocking to Amazon with their newest and best products (which accelerates the flywheel's ener Read more of this blog post »

Gigi Sedlmayer I have reviewed you book "Naked Determination" a while back already and posted the review on amazon.com.
I wanted to post it here on Goodreads but I never find the place to place it. Please let me know where to go. I was looking up your site now for the last half hour and just can't find the place to post it. Why is it so difficult?

Sara Gisel, I purchased your book, Naked Determination, a month or so back when Sherry M mentioned it. It's high on my list of "to read" on my Kindle. I will certainly review it when I do read it. It looks intriguing to say the least.

thanks for friending me !

Christy King Gisele, how do I get to what you are doing?
