A freelance copywriter for many years, Lucy has worked for businesses and creative agencies around the world. The Way It Never Was' is her first novel.

Outside the world of writing, Lucy loves a good book, TV shows with story arcs she can keep track of and sitting in cafes - although those heady days of idly drinking cappuccinos while pretending to be in 'Dawson's Creek' are long gone. However, that doesn't stop her regularly wishing the 'Globe' cafe in her novel was real.
