Cynthia (Cyn) Morris is a writer and editor with a lifelong addiction to coffee and acrostic puzzles. She has written several nonfiction books, and thousands of news and feature articles on topics ranging from camel farming in the desert to wormholes in outer space.

Cyn's puzzle series include CynAcrostics (eclectic topics), American Acrostics (American history, culture, and trivia), and AnimaCrostics (animal-themed puzzles for kids). Her puzzles are published by Egghead Games, and are also available on Amazon.

I'm having a blast with it -- selecting the 50 quotes about our presidents and first ladies was a hoot! So many hilarious stories to choose from. For example, did you know that John Quincy Adams' wife, Louisa, gorged on chocolates until her teeth fell out? Or that Shirley Temple once shot Eleanor Roosevelt in the behind with a slingshot? I love learning about this sort of trivia, and being able to incorporate these stories into acrostic puzzles is especially fun. (less)
