“Somatic awakening opens us to feeling, sensing, and taking action. It allows us to abandon old ways of behaving that may be outdated or no longer in our best interest and to adopt new ways more aligned with personal values and well-being. A body in touch with its own being is alive to the moment and open to shedding old skin for new, aware, too, that such shedding, a dynamic process of our aliveness, is taking place subcutaneously regardless of our approval.”
Cheryl Pallant, Writing and the Body in Motion: Awakening Voice through Somatic Practice

“To be taken seriously, she takes herself seriously. In the manifest of dreams, dreams imagine her.”
Cheryl Pallant, Her Body Listening

“Follow emptiness, the rise and fall of breath, the sun greeting the moon, one thought dissolving into the next. Let all preconceptions fall away. Let the purity of each moment rise up. Your own mind is unsubstantial like the sky.”
Cheryl Pallant, Ginseng Tango

“We’re on the cusp of personal and collective change, one an extension of the other, a developmental step that, when faced with a more complete range of our abilities, furthers human potential. Consider the time we're in as an invitation to live with an open heart, alert mind, and dynamic integration of our being grounded in our body in alliance with family, community, and Earth. It’s how we thrive.”

“Let your body call you back into yourself, into your most deeply embodied self. Land, dive, soar. Find the crumbs that lead back home.”
