[image error]      I've been in Lincoln for over a week now, long enough to get over the worst of the jet lag and get acclimated. I'm staying with my partner, Paddy, in his flat in the northern part of the city and most days we walk the one and half miles down into the Bailgate and on to the High Street where all the little shops and cafes are.           Yesterday I walked downtown to go the post office and on the way home I happened to pop into a new antique store.  I didn't really mean to look for or purchase antiques, it was just hot and I wanted to cool off a bit.           This afternoon I went to see the new Ghostbusters movie, a reboot of the original but …with ladies. I enjoyed it very much but not because it was better than the first movie. It wasn’t at all. It didn’t have the same heart or depth of story. Characters in the original were adorably quirky or just hilarious (Bill Murray) which just wasn’t true in this one.
