I'm afraid of a lot of things. Big cities, doctors, and the DMV all make me nervous. But I don't like feeling weak so I make myself do things that I fear. Goodreads is one of those things.

The talk among authors is that Goodreads can be a mean place for writers to hang out and I don't do mean very well. But as I said, I dislike feeling weak so here I am.

I've been sticking to my own page, but yesterday, at the urging of one of my readers, I added some of my books to a couple of listopia cozy mystery lists. I hope I didn't do something wrong. If I did, please be gentle. ;)

I love spring. It's the perfect time to sit in my screen porch and read. My reading habits go in cycles, and when I'm writing a first draft, I'm usually to exhausted to read in the evening and just veg in front of the TV. But I just finished writing Dime Store #5 and next up is the polishing draft of my second romance, Lucky Girl Cashes In, so this is prime reading time. I'm averaging nearly five books a week. Still under my teenage and early twenties when I read up to ten books a week. But now real life intrudes and time is more limited. What book is next on your TBR stack? I have Game for Seduction by Bella Andre on mine.

I'm so excited that as of March 1, I will FINALLY have the first romance in my Change of Heart series ready for my readers. Good Girl Overboard takes a small-town girl turned undercover cruise reviewer and a cruise ship captain with a secret. Mix them together on a king size bed and their emotional journey to happily ever after begins.

And on March 3, my fourth Devereaux's Dime Store debuts with Dying For a Cupcake: A Devereaux's Dime Store Mystery Who can resist a sugary treat and and a fun mystery?

My only public appearance for these two books is March 14th at the Coal City Pharmacy in Coal City, IL from 12:30-2:00.
