Fear

I'm afraid of a lot of things. Big cities, doctors, and the DMV all make me nervous. But I don't like feeling weak so I make myself do things that I fear. Goodreads is one of those things.

The talk among authors is that Goodreads can be a mean place for writers to hang out and I don't do mean very well. But as I said, I dislike feeling weak so here I am.

I've been sticking to my own page, but yesterday, at the urging of one of my readers, I added some of my books to a couple of listopia cozy mystery lists. I hope I didn't do something wrong. If I did, please be gentle. ;)

Doward Wilson I am also learning my way around Goodreads but thanks to your comments on Facebook about it, I am slowly exploring my way around it, because I want to be able to post POSITIVE reviews for the writers that are so much a part of my life experience. I do not like change or negativity very well but somehow I jump in and swim. Thanks to Kate Dyer-Seely/Ellie Alexander and wanting to follow her work, I got myself on Facebook and met all my wonderful authors. Duffy Brown sent a friend request and I haven't looked back since. Since all my books come from the library, they and Goodreads are the only places I have found to post reviews, except directly to the author on their website. You are an inspiration to try the unknown, even when you don't know it. Thanks, for all you do.

Aw! Thanks so much. I was feeling a little blue today and you cheered me right up.

Doward Wilson Happy that it helped. Goodreads is not the easiest to navigate around but we will all make it. In the meantime I am reading the Scumble River series from the beginning and have followed the Dime Store books from the first. I am enjoying both so much. Just keep smiling and WRITING, please!
