Biography
I am an obsessive reader and writer. I love young adult fantasy fiction, but can often be found with my nose in all sorts of texts.
My first book to be published was The Long Staff. This is the first book in The Staff Wielder Series. The books, set in the Highlands of Scotland, follow a young boy Tom MacKay as he is forced to travel through time and learn to wield a magical staff.
The second book in the series The Ancient Exile was released in September 2013.

Now, I have released a paranormal fantasy story, Heaven's Waiting Room. This story, follows a girl called Portia, who discovers at the start of the story, that she's dead! Heaven has some strict new entry requirements in place, and she didn't make the cut.

An extravaganza...

Today I've been musing over book promotion strategies.
You can have the best book in the world, but you still need to get people to read it.
This month, I tried something new... I had a short story free for a week, my first Afterlife Novel, Heaven's Waiting Room, free for a week, and now, the second Afterlife Novel, The Listeners, is on Kindle Countdown.
