Why Anabaptists Aren’t Like Other Protestants (The Protestant Libertarian Podcast)
Episode description:
In this episode I talk yet again with the great anarchist anabaptist Cody Cook. He is the author of two recent books on Anabaptism, The Anarchist Anabaptist and The Pocket Anabaptist. In this episode we explore what makes anabaptism unique and how it fits in with the wider protestant tradition. Cody explains how anabaptist have always been uncomfortable with state power, how anabaptists understand controversial theological issues such as baptism and justification, and why they are committed to nonviolence. We compare them to Lutherans, Calvinists, and other protestant groups, why anabaptism is compatible with anarchism, how modern anabaptists have compromised the tradition’s theology, and how anabaptists and other Christians can build ecumenical relationships.

Faith over Power (BIC Life Podcast)
What does it mean to truly follow Jesus? Especially in a world full of political power struggles, religious tribalism, and cultural confusion? In this episode, Cody Cook joins us to explore the heart of Anabaptist theology: a faith rooted in community, peace, and the cross. Drawing from his book The Pocket Anabaptist, Cody helps us rediscover a simple but radical invitation to live like Jesus, not just believe in Him.

Making Anarchy Great Again (Biblical Anarchy Podcast)
Description:
Christian anarchism used to be a fringe idea—even within libertarian and Christian circles. But something has changed. In this special 100th episode of the Biblical Anarchy Podcast, host Jacob Winograd reflects on the journey from the early Daniel 3 Podcast days to now, and how the word “anarchy” went from being controversial to central.
Joined by returning guest and LCI colleague Cody Cook, they unpack what’s changed in the movement, what they’ve learned over 100 episodes, and why Christian anarchy is finally having its moment. From the problem of evil to the future of liberty in the church, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
