There are so many fictional worlds, but the first one that pops into my head is Narnia. I guess it's my inner child. What would I do there? Explore the land and get to know the talking animals and mythical creatures there. Mostly I would want to see Aslan.(less)

The Emperor’s New Clothes: a true story.

We are all like “The Emperor” wearing his “new clothes,” which are a figment of his prideful imagination and vanity. Until we see that we are naked and ridiculous, God cannot clothe us with His righteousness or fill us with Himself. Wearing imaginary clothes can seemingly be no problem if everybody else is just as blind – and as long as the weather holds favorably. But God brings the winter with i Read more of this blog post »

At first, I liked it, and then, as it went on, I became confused with so many names and considered not finishing it, but I'm glad I did. While it wasn't written as descriptive and as well as it could've been, it was still a good story. Hercule and Ha ...more

“That is the problem with not being able to depend on anything, you become afraid of everything -- even the best of intentions.”
J.L. Rallios, The Gopher & the Erstwhile Wizard

“Courage, dear heart.”
C.S. Lewis, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”
C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves
