Steve is a Navy JROTC instructor and retired U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer whose love for American history was inspired by teachers who brought history to life with passion and a flair for the dramatic. A graduate of Liberty University, Steve has written many technical directives and professional curricula. His article, “Keeping the Hook Moving” was published in the July/August 2009 edition of Navy Supply Corps Newsletter. Steve's first historical novel, "Farewell The Innocent," was published in January 2016, culminating ten years of research on the Second Virginia Infantry Regiment, C.S.A. and soldier life in the Confederate army.
