The atmosphere is not a perfume, it has no taste of the distillation, it is odorless,
It is for my mouth forever, I am in love with it,
I will go to the bank by the wood and become undisguised and naked,
I am mad for it to be in contact with me. –Walt Whitman

My new novel—A Most Modern Love—is entered in an Amazon competition for digital publication.

You will see the competition (and a blurb along with a description of the novel) by clicking on the following URL:

https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/AOAT...

Your click on the ‘Nominate me’ rectangle will help drive the editors at Amazon to consider the book for publication.
The payoff is not Hemingway or Doctorow country. A small advance, yes, but the Amazon marketing muscle will promote the book on Kindle giving it a chance to attract a national and international readership.

Your taking a moment to nominate A Most Modern Love will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Michael

Thank you so much for the review. The novel is pretty grisly but there's a shaft of redeeming light, yes? I'm pleased you didn't give up. Not good for the beach.
Kind regards,

“Chronic trauma (according to the meaning I propose) that occurs early in life has profound effects on personality development and can lead to the development of dissociative identity disorder (DID), other dissociative disorders, personality disorders, psychotic thinking, and a host of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse. In my view, DID is simply an extreme version of the dissociative structure of the psyche that characterizes us all.”
