The remarkable sequel to THE LINCOLN PENNY (Book 1) will be released during Spring 2016. A Lover's Eye is a Georgian miniature, painted on ivory, depicting the eye of a spouse, loved one or child. They were usually commissioned for sentimental reasons and often worn as bracelets, brooches, pendants or rings with richly decorated frames. Lover's Eye jewelry became popular in the 1700s.(less)
