Master Sergeant (Ret.) Gregory H. Murry served without distinction from 1963 to 2005 with breaks in service. Starting as a Private with the 158th Infantry of the Arizona National Guard, I re-enlisted in 1965 for the regular army where I served with: A-2-54 Infantry, 4th Armored Division in West Germany, A-1-16 Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in the Republic of Vietnam, and 1-3 Infantry in the Military District of Washington, DC and was honorably discharged in 1969. I re-enlisted in the Texas National Guard and served with the Aero-Rifle Platoon of D-Troop (Air), 124 Cavalry and Company G (Airborne-Ranger), 143 Infantry (LRRP) and was honorably discharged in 1980.
