SHOW YOUR FAITH IN GOD

MEMORY VERSE:
"They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever", Psalm 125:1

#THE_MESSAGE:
At the opening of the story in today’s Bible reading, the Lord Jesus saw a fig tree that, though blossoming, had no fruit. The Lord therefore decided to teach His disciple two major lessons from it. The first is the danger of fruitlessness even when the grace of God is upon our lives. The fig was leavy and green, a sign that it had potential to bear fruit, though it was not bearing any! Consequently, Jesus delivered judgment upon it immediately.

The second lesson Jesus taught His disciples on the day is on faith, because He decreed that the fig tree should dry up and it came to pass immediately. Jesus’ words (in Mark 11:22) provide the foundation for our major lesson today. He said to His disciples “Have faith in God!” Whatever we desire as #children_of_God, we should put it forward to the Lord in prayer and we shall receive it. You may wonder then why He asked in Luke 18:8, “…Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

The above is where the challenge lies for many believers who are yet to receive answers to their requests from God. The only way such people can get what they want is by exercising faith in God. Beloved, take note of the words of Jesus Christ in today’s reading which says "… and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

It is one thing to pray, it is another thing to actually believe that God will do what we have asked for. The story is told of a priest who called for prayers because there had been drought in the land. After the congregation had gathered for prayers, the priest looked around and asked “Brethren, are you not ready to pray?” the parishioner replied “How do you mean? That is what we have come to do.”
He asked again, “What have you come to do?”
And they chorused, ”To pray for rain!”
Then he asked “Where are your umbrellas and raincoats if indeed you believe God will answer your prayers?”

The parishioners’ faith was stirred up so they went to fetch their umbrellas and raincoats. God honored their faith and gave them rain. #What_a_lesson! Beloved, you must have faith in God for Him to bless you.

#PRAYER_POINT:
Increase my faith today, Lord I pray, in Jesus’

ON THE PATH OF ATTAINED DESTINY

There is no limits to destiny, but as far as you can envisioned, be graced and supported and attainable by what you put as investments! [In paraphrasing Bishop David Oyedepo's philosophy].
image: [image error]

Many see the becoming, and the blessings of a fulfilment in life and a destiny that is retaken, redefined and acquired by not only informed choices and character (actually faith, association and ethos) but by the greater Grace, Love and surpassing Mercies of God! Many, indeed, were the afflictions of the righteous, but for God! And, if God finally gives you laughter and glory, be cautious, 'return all to God', never forget those you can assist either.

Forgotten, and unwishable (for oneself or anyone) are the battles of envy, downgrading and competition from not just strangers and enemies but the betrayals by acquainted persons [close, family, co-worker, Community, etc], even the battles of loneliness, mockery and helplessness being the "used and choosen 'mumu'" - always being misunderstood, misconcepted by people you expected much from, and who only choose bad reports and misfortune or disgracing news peddled and amplified by enemies and wicked people.

What of won health challenges, the struggle through education for distinct certification and opportunities for useful and excelling life, struggles to keep your job and customers/clients of your business. For instance, I have seen younger Hausa colleague being promote, while I was denied information about promotion interview because I went for further studies and a Yoruba [even a lower rank being your reporting boss , it doesn't make their pay higher, but office privileges]. What of the battle of working your beliefs and vision, also responsibilities without support, encouragement but doubt and mockery of those who doesn't see the possibility nor wish things work out for you! The battle and ill-wishing of those that think you have but refused them, because you refused to show the hardship in your words, carriage, smiles and clothing.

What of your own inner battles and darkness! Seeking affirmative comfort, light and explanations, care and affection that could strengthens you as you struggle to make meaning of your sanity, relationship with Christ Jesus, conviction and hardwork, moral and faith anchored approach to life, and your continue goodness to people. In all and at all time, our saviour, and the Word of God has affirmed that God's love will never fail, nor will we be alone in our struggles and World, but grace sufficient, power and strength in the peace and joy only God can give, and partnership with the Holy Spirit will make us more than a conqueror, an ultimate winner in life, rights, love and our ambitions.

Be not be disturbed nor distressed by opposition or bad times, nor when you see unbelievers and people without faith prospering or displaying wealth from their dark secretive unrighteous deeds, tools and association with the occults and fraudsters/gamers, and obviously unsafe shortcuts.Proverbs 23:17 says "Do not let your heart envy sinners,.."
_"Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; fret not when men prosper in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes', Psalm 37:7.

God makes all thing beautiful, in its time, [Ecclesiastes 3:1,11] , “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven" , your season shall not pass in Jesus matchless name. No good thing will He withhold from those who loves Him but an unrestricted, indiscipline, unplanned and much more unrestituted life will find it difficulty to reach destiny, and a standing conditional opposition to rightly prayed Prayers. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly" ► Psalm 84:11

Again, If God finally gives you laughter and glory, be cautious as you celebrate and is being celebrated, 'return all to God', never forget those you can assist either. Have a real good weekend. God bless your you, and all yours. Amen in Jesus matchless name. #Shallom!

GOD OUR REFUGE

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.- Psalm 46:1

A good number of people wait for life to hit them real hard then they surrender to Jesus. When they are in jail. When they are hospitalized. When they have been duped. When they are kidnapped. When a doctor's report comes. What foolishness!

I remember, vividly, after my first Sunday Service Sermon in Zaria, 2001, three (there about) gave their lives to Christ and the Zonal Pastor (Friday Egbon, who gave me the privilege among other Sunday School teachers mandated) me to counsel them. One, during the counseling, confessed he came for army recruitment but was stranded! Immediately, I went to the Pastor, "this one is not born again o, he needs help, money!". He repremanded me, how I knew that. Indeed, it was God's word and by God's spirit he came to the decision not my 'amature preaching'.

I returned to counsel him, then we offer the assistance for him to return to his state and home. I thought, "he came because he needed assistance, and raised hand because it would helped his needs". I think I was wrong. Frankly, we often abuse both government and parental privileges, and worse still, the grace and help we are promised , trust and given in Christ Jesus and the Church. Sure, God is ever faithful divine help, loving and ALL sufficient #Jehovah.

Changing yourself doesn’t mean becoming a different person, it simply means working on improving yourself to become better; learn how to have higher self-awareness, cultivate a stronger mindset and faith, find meaning in what you do, where you are including your experience, and develop mindful habits that boost your productivity and happiness!

Don't wait till trouble comes, embrace the Light of life(Jesus Christ, John 1:4), receive God's abiding presence and help TODAY. Renew your mind daily with God's word of hope and truth, associate with those that really help your faith, vision and mindfulness.
Have a wonderful day pls. 👉💕

LIFE RACES| OUR RESPONSIBILITY & DIVINE INTERVENTION

Life is like a race, you keep on running either away from something (or situation) or towards a something (we need to keep pace with or win as ours). We have spectators, actors and shakers , others are loners. Some believe they are not racing, soon they realized all people run, differently and from various reasons!
'You don’t win a race sleeping or praying all the time but running the race.' - Bishop David Oyedepo.

life circle race.
Every area of our life we pray for fulfilment, every ambition, career or social or financial advantage we pursue, and those #CHANGES we want for our lives can be seen as a race, and a #CHALLENGE we must win, against limits in time, opportunities, resources, threats and environment. What legacy are you leaving behind? What impacts are you going to make on people and your society?

To win a race, you must prepare well and run it. To pass and be professionally certified, you must read, practice for experience and take the examination! Put in the required knowledge, preparation, time and resources not just hoping for a miracle! Truly, grace enhances and God's presence breaks limits to give strength, excellent spirit, Wisdom and favour.

Manage well your time, opportunities and blessings (i.e., your home, relationship, health, and wealth, etc). And, by mindfulness, responsible living and the love-grace of the Almighty God, our blessings will not turn to sorrow nor our responsibility a disgracing burden. Don't be isolated, or irked into anger, seek helps you need!
"When great men die in the race of life, they continue to live because the world can still benefit from their products." ~Sunday Adelaja

As we work informed and responsibly in this second half of 2020, God will grant us our heart desires in Jesus name. Amen. God's immeasurable #Joy shall be our strength, grace will always be available, even while we patiently await His #intervention and help in our homes and nations.

Have a real good day. Don't be #locked_down emotionally, socially and mentally. #Stay_safe_pls 💞

MARITAL FULFILMENT: WHAT KIND OF LOVE DO YOU SHARE?

"Let the wife make the husband glad to come home, and let him make her sorry to see him leave." Martin Luther.

description
Often, I see couples disagreeing openly and disgracefully in the public, each wanting support from bewildered and often ill-willed public! Must husbands be deaf, and the wife blind to be able to live together? Marriages collapse often for infidelity, lack of love and care, irresponsibility and distance, violent husband and querisome wife, and also poverty-impatience. Not a day without a particular woman along our street getting into altercation with co-tenants!

I believe it's how they defined LOVE, their backgrounds, and their joint-relationship with Christ Jesus! And, for some Christian Marriages, it's from the onset, during courtship! Some got pregnant, and ended up co-habiting to raise the child, while many have not fulfilled the required rights, proper marriage and paying the dowry ...some ended at the registry despite their initial desire for a white or church wedding. Our #relationship gets better through knowledge, commitment, and much more, as our relationship with #Christ_Jesus gets better and meaningful.
"There is no (biblical) pre-condition for an husband to respect and LOVE his wife, even when she acts difficult and unlovable. It's a divine counsel obeyed by a wise Man!" ~Ibiloye Abiodun C.

Husband, if you really love your wives, just as Christ loved the Church, you must be able to trust your life, home and children with your wife through love, clear respect, understanding and value- involvement in things that matters to you and wellbeing of the family. The Bible instructs:
"Husbands, ..., treat your wives with consideration as a delicate vessel, and with honor as fellow heirs of the gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered." 1 Peter 3:7.
Do you 'tear down one another'? You can make a difference today, determine and ensure that your words, thoughts and deeds brings forth life, purpose, confidence, security and joy in her.

Relationship and Marriages as seen in movies and theater plays are not real, but could be both ideal and entertaining, - truly, the fantasy/horror/dreams of creative minds that wrote the scripts. You may be making a big mistake comparing your home to others', a lot of
ugly things are hidden [such as betrayals, health challenges, problems with children, etc] and many are not happy that you find happiness, that kind of cares and money in yours.

#Marriage gives you the opportunity for life expression and to share (with trust and hope of #understanding and #support), your thoughts and emotions in a way that represents who you are; gifts, weakness, beliefs, creativity, cares and your needs. It must nucture, support and strengthen not abusive, an hinderance or often shameful dramas.

Husband and wife must endeavor to remain equal and agreeable in the following composites: knowledge and understanding, faith and hope, patience and boundaries, friends and family, responsibility and career, also vision and plans.

Life and experiences are indeed not to be lived isolated nor alone! God bless you, God bless your home in Jesus matchless name. Amen.

PANDEMIC: ANXIOUS AND RESTLESS?

A person’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?” (Proverbs 20:24)

Things are good, but we just can’t shake the feeling that something is missing or needs to be fixed. We’ve lost our joy. We’re not happy. The things that used to be fulfilling are not. Have you, too, experienced these?
Perhabs, you were asking: "Why am I feeling so discontented, anxious, jealous on speculation and less self confident each day and moment?"

Feelings_ emotions come and go, and mostly determined by events, time, our preset disposition to life issues and the environment. Also significant are both the actions and thoughts of people around us. There is no perfect relationship, no #Perfect_Person nor a perfect life! But, we have a perfect saviour, #Christ_Jesus, whose Lordship can make your home, life and relationship a better experience; fully workable by His strength and wisdom, purposeful, fruitful and fulfilling.

You have a choice on your attitude, happiness and emotional feelings; which to discourage and which to dwell-in as your personality and in your socio- cultural transactions. We must learn contentment, and be cautious of the traps of lust, cultism, strange helpers and greed. Feeling something is wrong? First, check what you really believe, the true situation, and where you still stand in Christ Jesus!

Think about how God had saw you through many challenges. How far you were able to achieve and overcome in your family and children today, could you imagine it possible years ago. Gratitude and contentment are really useful here! As much value as our society places in #getting_settled with a job, in a good #marriage and in doing what you love, there’s also merit and yet the task in learning to love what you do, be content yet passionately commited to taking your home, business and relationship to the highest level possible.

Allow God's peace to take over. A restless mind encourages negative attitudes and opposes hope and your faith- leaving your gasping for breathe and strength! Always confess your love and hope on those things and people you desire fulfilment and satisfaction from. Speak and think only positive on your expectations and particular circumstances!

The thoughts and realities of life after covid-19 has been giving a lot of people concern. These fears are true and imminent but we can prepare well and surprisingly be strong for it. They may just disappear like a shadow when the lockdown us over!
"Put your cares on the Lord, and he will be your support; he will not let the upright man be moved". Psalm 55:22.

#Seriously: We love to compare and be challenged by other's success and blessings, it must not be the root of our anxiety, backsliding, bitterness and unhappiness.
Do not be angry because of the delay and the mockers. Do not be discontented when the unrighteous seems to be successful and prospering in inniquity and frauds. Still, trust God, [Psalm 37:5-7]!
Don't remain in isolation without seeking help from likely places. The worst is a "NO!" and you will discover true friends too.

In all you do, and where you find yourself, please put on love, (which is the bond of perfect unity, benefiting relationship and secret of being attractive).
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom,..."[Colossians 3:15-16]

PRAYERS:
Lord, please calm my heart and my soul today. So many things are out of my control and I need your love, your strength and vision that sees hope and direction to a better life and the next level in my life and relationship.
I trust you, oh LORD, with my life, the affairs in my home and relationship. Please, step in LORD and give me a joyful and fulfilling testimonies in Jesus matchless name.
I receive your peace and joy, also power to hope and work-things out to outstanding success in Jesus name. Amen.
Praise God!

OUR FAITHFUL GOD: ETERNAL, LOVING AND UNCHANGEABLE!

"For I am the Lord, I change not;..." Malachi 3:6[KJV]
God is Faithful at all Times, [Deut. 7:9]

Every human experience doubt and fearful moments, it's expected considering the current caution and fight against covid-19. Many families have started crying out, we must continue not only to encourage ourselves but also support in whatever capacity we can!

Can God help? He is already doing so, we too must be strong and be the hands God uses to help one another. Jehovah Ropheka protect still, and Jesus, He has made our wisdom and strength. God is mighty in power, also in Mercy and Love.

Behold! God is mighty, and yet despises no one nor regards anything as trivial; He is mighty in power of understanding and heart. Job 36:5 (AMP)

I appreciate the sacrifices of our Health Care Service Providers so also our researchers, all over the World. May God protect you. And, those who have lost theirs in saving others, God grant you peace eternal, you will be remembered.

If we must learn anything, we must desist from dangerous research, unsafe practices and Weirdo Experiments that alters human nature or allow hybrid zoonotic diseases or virus to invade human immune system.

“Know, without any doubt, and understand that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who is keeping His covenant and His steadfast lovingkindness to a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments” {Deut. 7:9‬ }

Let's not forget that God, in His internal being is Life, the Truth, Power, Love, and Light; (the "Father of light" in whom there is "no shadow" of turning as written in James 1:17, truly, "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above," that is coming down from Him). He is love, power and life raised above TIME and SPACE.

Oppressed and threatened? Who decreed when God has not done so? Who ever come against is against the Almighty God. He is throned above temporal development and measure. He is above realms, kingdoms and spiritual throne...and He is making all things about you beautiful in it's time and by His power.

Dear friend, Loose not hope, on your #Business, #Education, #marital_life , #Health and your tomorrow. Always look forward to a better tomorrow, there is power in hoping! Remember, You are always on His divine mind and plan. [See Jeremiah 29:11]
Blessings.

THE WOMAN IN THE MIRROR

Trying to see the #woman_you_are_becoming? Face the truth, let's talk real sincere about you. A major problem about women today is their mindsets, and how to make choices as they struggle between what is right, the economic realities, and competing with other women. Many believe the solution is to have a man in their lives to meet these needs, greed and fantasies.

woman in the mirror
Let not your mindset be of a Woman that always needs a Man, for self-centeredness, unhealthy competition with other women, and lack of contentment will leave you unsatisfied, insensitive to threats to peace and love in your life. You tend to behaving unreasonably, and is often tempted to be unfaithful in a potentially good relationship. Single mothers, prostitute, frustrated "super women", emotional abused women fill our society status and race spectrum. The Scriptures counsel,
"...do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others, [putting yourself in the other position, and praying to contribute value to others life too]" – Philippians 2:5.
.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this World, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.[Romans 12:2]. Are you a #Woman a Man needs? "Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised." – Proverbs 31:30

I am praying with you, and whatever has made you sad or ashamed, the Almighty God is stepping into your particular situation, He is bringing glory and changes that will gives you a great laughter in Jesus name. A loving Father, and God that mocks the mocker, but gives grace to the humble, and satifies His children with their desires. Amen.

GOD CAN DEAL WITH YOUR CLOSED DOORS! [He is the best Life Planner]

I love this: But I trust in you, LORD; I say, "You are my God." My times are in your hands.' Psalms 31:14- 15

A #DOOR can be a symbol of #Opportunity or one of #imprisonment. By imprisonment, I mean being caged or suppressed or "continual intelligent monitoring and curtailing" [perhabs like 'a cut hand ✋ or branch' (i.e lack of productivity, expansion or progress) or like being tied to a challenge or stationary bully or oppressor or punishers]. You need to know why, and what helps in keep you in that prison. Don't allow yourself to be shut off God's presence, nor allow His door closed on you! *Never allow yourself to be isolated, very important...you must be heard, seen and truth told to you.

Cut off from all known source of your problems including mistrust, and put your hands fully in God's! He has the Master Key, that unlocks every prison and that looses every bond or chain through Christ Jesus. Are your ways restituted? Are you aware of devil's trick and witches tools of 'setting people up' using strange offences, spells and curses? Are you putting your hands in His strong and loving hands?
Any area of your life or habit which is always in excess, is a weakness or bondage! Definitely, a moderation or discipline (before rebuke or shame) must come in for a change or progress it's inhibiting! Only God's grace, wisdom and #Mercies must be in excess, abundantly in your life. Me and you need grace, mercy, caution and daily #sanctification!

However, when a door of opportunity is closed, we need to seek for understanding (from God who knows the end from the beginning) and should always be thankful to the Almighty for the closed doors in our lives. Often we look at them wondering "why is He not giving us what we want so badly?"

They’re closed for a reason, ultimately to protect us. He has a plan for us, that of peace, good and the best to our expected end, [Jeremiah 29:11]! We therefore need to learn to TRUST Him and His flawless judgement, yet ask to understand the real "WHY". Then, look forward and never backward again!

The LORD, is the Faithful One, NOTHING is impossible for Him [Matthew 19:26], He has a clear understanding of all events and consequences tomorrow! Surely, He beautifies all things in it's time [Ecclesiastic 3:11]. And, I am a firm believer in the statement, "When one door closes, another opens;" but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us! 🤷‍♂

Blessed is he/she that believes and works in that direction, "for no Word of God will ever fail,"[ Luke 1:37]. Know that "The LORD will decree a blessing on your barns [stores, home and savings], and on everything to which you put your hand;.."_ Deuteronomy 28:8.
Yours will not be late nor denied in Jesus matchless name. Amen!
Happy Weekend, 😀

RIGHTLY ENGAGING GOD IN PRAYERS AND QUALITY DAILY RELATIONSHIP

Except in warfare, and need for salvation or a miracle or healing, I have learnt that #Prayers shouldn't be a 'Fire brigade' thing, "Oh LORD, answer NOW, NOW!!" if we are living a life of prayers and really growing in understanding of Gods Word and Spirit. Yes, there are instant answers and even before you pray! In most real situation, your fasting and prayers are needed and quality spiritual investment today (the results are not instantly visible but by faith) and are kept in store (on the heavenly #golden_altar, as seed, fragrance and remembrance) before God for tomorrow; it's success, victory and your well-being! Revelation 8:3

It's wise investment of time, care and management of physical endowment and resources. Oh, you have health now but what of tomorrow, the next minute, or people close to you? You still need to pray for it, but in gratude, "Oh LORD, thank you for today but am trusting you for tomorrow, increasing sound health and my family's". We are encouraged to "Pray Always", which doesn't replace seeking knowledge and working understanding of our life issues; how relationship, education, health and business works! No particular time you don't need to pray.

Some will say: "Do I need God?, "Do I need to pray when I know that hardwork and my privileged friends can deliver to me success and wealth?" Let it be cleared, God does not need you for ANYTHING but you need Him for EVERYTHING, and you may appreciate Him by making yourself useful and a testimony of His love, power and glory!

Today you need His presence and Word to give you strength, wisdom, direction, favour and the grace in ALL you do and WHERE you are. You are free to enter into His presence in time of need! For it's written He gives #Grace, #strength and #Power to His own in time of need; to make wealth, [Deuteronomy 8:18] , and to earn the Victory of favor, mercy and of great Distinction. In Christ we are Sufficient; we make a difference, and by His spirit we obtain wisdom and vitality (body, soul and Spirit) for each moment, challenge and engagement of value and responsibility.

Do you understand this verses of Revelation 8: 3-4, "Then another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, rose up before God from the hand of the angel…"
Your prayers are expected fragrance and demand before God, burning because it's continual practice, and it's in heeding the biblical instruction to pray always, [2Thessalonians 5:17-18]. Truly men ought to pray and not faint, and be anxious for nothing, [Philippians 4:6].

Pray at all times in the Spirit, [Ephesians 6:18] and Apostle Paul wrote in Timothy 2:1, "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, [women, family, friends, enemies, unbelievers, the nation, etc.]
LEARN TO ENGAGE HIM, LEARN TO TRUST HIM, #PRAY_ALWAYS.
