PANDEMIC: ANXIOUS AND RESTLESS?

A person’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand their own way?” (Proverbs 20:24)

Things are good, but we just can’t shake the feeling that something is missing or needs to be fixed. We’ve lost our joy. We’re not happy. The things that used to be fulfilling are not. Have you, too, experienced these?
Perhabs, you were asking: "Why am I feeling so discontented, anxious, jealous on speculation and less self confident each day and moment?"

Feelings_ emotions come and go, and mostly determined by events, time, our preset disposition to life issues and the environment. Also significant are both the actions and thoughts of people around us. There is no perfect relationship, no #Perfect_Person nor a perfect life! But, we have a perfect saviour, #Christ_Jesus, whose Lordship can make your home, life and relationship a better experience; fully workable by His strength and wisdom, purposeful, fruitful and fulfilling.

You have a choice on your attitude, happiness and emotional feelings; which to discourage and which to dwell-in as your personality and in your socio- cultural transactions. We must learn contentment, and be cautious of the traps of lust, cultism, strange helpers and greed. Feeling something is wrong? First, check what you really believe, the true situation, and where you still stand in Christ Jesus!

Think about how God had saw you through many challenges. How far you were able to achieve and overcome in your family and children today, could you imagine it possible years ago. Gratitude and contentment are really useful here! As much value as our society places in #getting_settled with a job, in a good #marriage and in doing what you love, there’s also merit and yet the task in learning to love what you do, be content yet passionately commited to taking your home, business and relationship to the highest level possible.

Allow God's peace to take over. A restless mind encourages negative attitudes and opposes hope and your faith- leaving your gasping for breathe and strength! Always confess your love and hope on those things and people you desire fulfilment and satisfaction from. Speak and think only positive on your expectations and particular circumstances!

The thoughts and realities of life after covid-19 has been giving a lot of people concern. These fears are true and imminent but we can prepare well and surprisingly be strong for it. They may just disappear like a shadow when the lockdown us over!
"Put your cares on the Lord, and he will be your support; he will not let the upright man be moved". Psalm 55:22.

#Seriously: We love to compare and be challenged by other's success and blessings, it must not be the root of our anxiety, backsliding, bitterness and unhappiness.
Do not be angry because of the delay and the mockers. Do not be discontented when the unrighteous seems to be successful and prospering in inniquity and frauds. Still, trust God, [Psalm 37:5-7]!
Don't remain in isolation without seeking help from likely places. The worst is a "NO!" and you will discover true friends too.

In all you do, and where you find yourself, please put on love, (which is the bond of perfect unity, benefiting relationship and secret of being attractive).
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom,..."[Colossians 3:15-16]

PRAYERS:
Lord, please calm my heart and my soul today. So many things are out of my control and I need your love, your strength and vision that sees hope and direction to a better life and the next level in my life and relationship.
I trust you, oh LORD, with my life, the affairs in my home and relationship. Please, step in LORD and give me a joyful and fulfilling testimonies in Jesus matchless name.
I receive your peace and joy, also power to hope and work-things out to outstanding success in Jesus name. Amen.
Praise God!
