Thank you, Sara, for the links regarding information about the Algonquian natives of 1584 and 1585. I'm very appreciative of your interest and help. I will look into the last two links in particular. I have read Harriot's report and the reports of Barlowe, Grenville, Lane, and White and read the main secondary sources. I am also familiar with the Coastal Carolina Indian Center. (I enjoyed reading your articles) I've made numerous posts about the subject matter on my blog site: http://authorharoldtitus.blogspot.com
I've tried to make myself as knowledgeable as I can, but what is particularly lacking is a sensory knowledge of the area.
