Veronica Does it bother anyone else that it seems like every book you read now days is part of a series??? I am starting to not read books that are a series and intertwined (book one of five, etcetera). What happened to an author who could write a free standing book without having four others to continue the story line? Most of the time I like a book that leave me with a sense of closure at the end of it rather than a feeling of commitment to read 4 more. I have so many books I want to read that I don't want to get caught up in one more series. Sorry...I had to vent. I am better now. :-)
