The Loco Sonnet

Better to be loco for something,
Than to be sane for nothing.
Better to fight and die for a purpose,
Than to sit around and do chanting.
Better to love and be exploited,
Than to be self-obsessed and crooked.
Better to disagree and annoy each other,
Than to hide the differences fostering hatred.
Better to be a know-nothing idiot,
Than to be a know-it-all loudspeaker.
Better a character without fancy clothes,
Than fancy clothes without character.
There’s no future without a united humanity.
The whole world is a reflection of me.

How to Love (The Sonnet)

How do I love thee?
Lemme count the ways.
No wait, why bother counting,
When I can shower you with praise!
When there's sunshine on your face,
Lemme drink it like miracle syrup.
When your soul is blue and cloudy,
Lemme be your personal stand-up.
Your achievements are my own,
As such they boost my swag.
When you are mad at yourself,
Lemme be your punching bag.
Give me your body or not, I don't care.
I just wanna be there to wipe your every tear.

My Sight is You (The Sonnet)

My sight is you,
My faith is you.
I give all to thee,
For my life is you.
In my heart are you,
In my soul are you.
I can live without air,
But not without you.
My heaven is you,
My treasure is you.
I don't need no palace,
All I want is you.
My science is you, my art is you.
The morning of my mind is you.

Lover off The Street (A Sonnet)

Beauty and bliss are all around,
When my feet walk alongside yours.
Life reaches the pinnacle of being,
When I'm annihilated for a smile of yours.
Climbed plenty hills, trotted plenty jungle,
Nowhere did I find a drop of sanity.
Then I stood crazy before your radiance,
And I got drenched in beams of serenity.
I am but a naïve lover off the street,
Without a single trace of intellect.
The only thing that I've learnt in life is,
In your happiness lies my upliftment.
Business is measured by how much we receive,
Life is realized when we stand hellbent to give.

To Seduce You With Looks (The Sonnet)

I haven't come to seduce you with looks,
I have come to overwhelm you with love.
I haven't come to break your door by force,
I’ve come to charm it open with my mind’s touch.
I haven't come to bring you worldly riches,
But to offer you the garland of my heart.
I haven't come to usher you with complements,
I’ve come to celebrate you, tearing myself apart.
I haven't come to count the benefits of bond,
I’ve come to make you lose count of your wounds.
I haven't come to feel butterflies in my stomach,
But to fight the world, helping you break all rules.
Let me burn to ashes time and time again,
So I may remove the shadows from your life's lane.

Loveburnt (The Sonnet) | Handcrafted Humanity

Jungle creatures look beautiful,
When they are in a habitat that's natural.
The human mind is beautiful when,
Mind and muhabbet are indistinguishable.
Don’t go about looking for your phone,
To google the meaning of muhabbet.
It's just a term for the timeless force of love,
The force at the core of all civilized sentience.
You can't force love, all you can do is,
Be vulnerable and reach out despite your insecurity.
Whether the person of your heart responds back,
Is not in your hands, but a matter of cosmic serendipity.
You may burn in the inferno of hate and fear all you want.
Bearing all snowstorm I stand unbent, ready to be loveburnt.

Undestination (The Sonnet) | Şehit Sevda Society

I gave up my country in your love,
I gave up my home for your sweetness.
I stand at your door without identity,
Will you take me in and fill my emptiness!
I've sailed my ship towards undestination,
Let the waves take me where they may.
Embracing the unknown I became a pal of all.
Come out my friend from your cage of dismay.
Come with me, and we'll explore all impossibility.
If we must be awful let's be awful together.
Let us lose all maps and walk around as vagrants.
Why worry, when we have each other!
To hell with destination, let us savor the journey!
Before success and achievement, let us first have unity.

In Work Be Restless (The Sonnet) | Mücadele Muhabbet

In work, be restless,
In love, be limitless,
In care, be oceandeep,
In service, be selfless.
In virtue, be skywide,
In justice, be incorruptible,
In integrity, be unbending,
In honor, be uncompromisable.
In culture, be without walls,
In courage, be endless,
In compassion, be senseless,
In character, be borderless.
Life's too grand to be wasted in gutter.
Expand your heart and you'll rise higher.

Love Logic Intention (The Drunken Sonnet) | Honor He Wrote

Love that keeps you sober is no love,
There is no soldier only drunken lover.
A thousand dazzling Vegas turn bleak,
When the soul shines with love’s labor.
For once, let go of all judgment my friend,
Wipe out all cynicism from your core.
Close your eyes and look with your heart,
Either we are lovers or at death’s door.
Nutty logic makes nice machines,
Nutty love makes a good society.
Scars of love add definition to life,
Tears of a lover are diamonds of divinity.
Right world is the result of right intention.
If you want light, burn, burn ‘n burn again.

World is My Valentine (The Sonnet) | Honor He Wrote

My first and foremost love is society,
Romance 'n things are second priority.
My love seeks not to be loved in return,
In fact, my love thrives in cold nonreciprocity.
Mine is not to reason why, mine is to love and die,
There's no greater love than that of a one-sided lover.
The world is to me what Julia was to Saint Valentine,
And what the impoverished were to Nicholas Santa.
A world anemic in love needs a day to celebrate love,
I am a lover eternal, for me every day is valentine's day.
The world is my valentine, as such it is under my care,
It's my duty to protect it from Claudius' mischievous play.
I shall stop breathing before I break this pledge of mine.
There's no greater power than the pledge of a lover divine.
