Sonnet of National Sickness | Handcrafted Humanity
Wanna study a superpower, study America.
Wanna study dysfunctional power, still study America.
Wanna study spirituality, study India.
Wanna study rotten spirituality, still study India.
Wanna study rise of secularism, study Turkish Republic.
Wanna study fall of secularism, still study Turkish Republic.
Wanna study standards of beauty, study the Korean Republic.
Wanna study doctored beauty, still study the Korean Republic.
Wanna study pride and loyalty, study good old Britannia.
Wanna study primeval pride and loyalty, still study Britannia.
Wanna study statehood, study People's Republic of China.
Wanna study the horrors of statehood, still study China.
Every nation on earth suffers from a distinct ailment.
The first step towards recovery is acknowledgement.

It is human nature to shed tears in agony,
But taking pain to wipe another's tear is humanity.
It's human nature to be sad at the loss of something,
But giving up all to lift another is humanity.
It is human nature to reply harm with more harm,
But to stand unbending without violence is humanity.
It is human nature to reply argument with argument,
But knowing when to lose an argument is humanity.
It is human nature to win by dragging others down,
But defying competition to live a purpose is humanity.
It is human nature to blame disparity on politicians,
But to step up ensuring equity in one's area is humanity.
Just because it’s human nature, doesn't make it civilized.
We shall be civilized when we are no longer hypnotized.
But taking pain to wipe another's tear is humanity.
It's human nature to be sad at the loss of something,

One Life, One Idea (The Sonnet) | Handcrafted Humanity
One life, one idea, one duty – love.
One body, one being, one vision – amity.
One heart, one sight, one sentiment – care.
One mind, one kind, one community – humanity.
One pen, one ink, one paper – awareness.
One hive, one height, one light – assimilation.
One kite, one compass, one flight – unity.
One sail, one sea, one ship - self-correction.
One gospel, one goal, one gamble – collectivity.
One cult, one core, one culture – unification.
One church, one mosque, one temple – nonduality.
One road, one reason, one reality – nondifferentiation.
Take the mind beyond the bind to see the world anew.
A world united comes to life when walls turn dust in you.
One body, one being, one vision – amity.
One heart, one sight, one sentiment – care.
One mind, one kind, one community – humanity.
One pen, one ink, one paper – awareness.
One hive, one height, one light – assimilation.

Sonnet of Rulers | Handcrafted Humanity
The only people who'll rule the world,
Are the ones who want to rule not a being.
The only people to inherit the earth,
Are the ones who want to inherit nothing.
The only people who win hearts,
Are those who give all without question.
The only people who become family to all,
Are those who walk without assumption.
The only people who never die,
Are those who happily die for others.
The only people who are the happiest,
Are those who have no trace of selfish desires.
Selfishness is synonym for suffering and misery.
Joy is just a byproduct of service to humanity.
Are the ones who want to rule not a being.
The only people to inherit the earth,
Are the ones who want to inherit nothing.

Enough with leaving this world,
In the hands of old fuddy-duddies.
Mark you, I ain't talkin' about age,
I am talkin' about mental maturity.
Long enough we've allowed tradition,
To wreak havock on our precious planet.
It's time for reason and nonrigidity,
To stand up and take charge, all unbent.
Inhumanity persists in our world,
Because the humans give a consensual wave.
It's time for the grown-ups to grow up and,
Redeem reins from those with both feet in the grave.
Ancient relics belong in museum, not in driver's seat.
It's for the young of head 'n heart to get the society lit.

It's the citizens’ duty to make a nation nonpartisan,
Government is meant to serve as powerless figurehead.
All my hopes lie in the hands of accountable citizens,
A good politician acts a citizen, not political dunderhead.
So no more procrastination with the curation of society,
No more playing hooky in the school of life and sanity.
Be the politician that you seek in the sewers of state,
Not by law but by an indefatigable accountability.
Democracy means rule of the people, not sleep of people,
Yet that's what it means to people 'n politicians alike.
But shhh, nobody is supposed to admit any of it in public,
For discretion is the better part of a society of sleeping mice.
Let sleeping slime sleep, if you are human, take charge now.
Dream with your eyes open and keep your democracy vow.

I Meditate on People | The Gentalist
Losing oneself in prayer won’t do, losing oneself in meditation won’t do, if we must be lost, let us lose ourselves in resuscitating this dying world of ours with our sweat and blood. People think meditation will solve everything. And to some extent, even I thought this way when I was a teenager. But the fact of the matter is, it won’t.
It’s not bad mark you, but contrary to popular belief, it’s not the key to all the problems of society.
We need ten percent meditation, ninety percent revolution. Better yet, we need a life where meditation is revolution, revolution is meditation. It is this simple. Make justice your meditation, make equity your meditation, make love your meditation, and you won’t need any of the traditional meditation.
The greatest meditation is revolution for assimilation. La mayor meditación es la revolución para la asimilación. Justicia es mi meditación – igualdad es mi meditación – humanidad es mi meditación.
Society needs your active involvement, not your pretend involvement. I’ll say it to you plainly. If you don’t wanna get involved, that’s perfectly fine, but don’t pretend that you are doing great service to the world by praying and meditating isolated from the actual troubles of society.
Prayer as means of self-sustenance is okay, but it mustn’t be glorified beyond that point. Worse than non-involvement is pretend involvement. Either get involved or don’t, there’s no praying. Either serve or don’t, there’s no praying. Either lift or don’t, there’s no praying.

Doomsday is not when the earth collapses,
Nor is it the contagion of a deadly virus.
Doomsday is when humans forget humanity,
As such all of us are doomsday descendants.
There is no such thing as fall of humanity,
For humankind never rose to civilization.
Our ancestors were savages with bow and arrow,
We are modern savages with nuclear ammunition.
Each of us are raised as an incarnate of doom,
Through our veins flow the germs of selfishness.
Everybody talks of peace without realizing,
The opposite of war is not peace, it’s unselfishness.
So stop worrying about the fall of civilization.
Live as human so that there actually is a civilization.
Nor is it the contagion of a deadly virus.

Give me a spark of your nerves,
I’ll turn it into thunder strike.
Give me a tremor of your lips,
I’ll turn it into landslide.
Give me a teardrop of your eyes,
I’ll turn it into tsunami.
Give me the sweat of your labor,
I’ll turn it into hydroelectricity.
Give me a beat of your heart,
I’ll turn it into an earthquake.
Give me a touch of your fingers,
I’ll turn it into society’s duct tape.
Ingredients of reform are born of your veins.
Renounce your apathy and reform will rain.
I’ll turn it into thunder strike.

If I Were Head of State (The Sonnet) | Vande Vasudhaivam
If I were the head of state,
my first act in government will be,
to dissolve the government,
and redistribute all powers of society,
to experts in their respective fields.
Civil servants and experts run a nation anyway,
While brainless politicians take all the credit.
Time to give credit and power where they’re due,
Putting an end to the circus of representatives.
Instead of trading one incompetent fool for another,
We gotta rotate the civil servants office to office.
In a civilized democracy, civilians are the law,
Never you forget that, never let anyone forget it!
If I were the head of state, that is the end of state.
Dictatorships empower leaders, democracy empowers citizens.
