Harper L. Jameson has always had an active imagination, first finding her love of books through the works of renowned horror authors at a young age. Then with her mother's influence, she found the romantic works of Beatrice Small and Johanna Lindsey and whole new worlds were opened to her. With the encouragement of family and friends, she began to create worlds of her own. Worlds of love and magic, of men and monsters and sometimes, they all intertwine in dark and delightful ways. Come inside, she has stories to tell. ...more

Turning the Page: Restarting My Writing Career

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve said I’m going to start writing again. Truly. I would make the declaration that “This is it!” and that would be the end of it. I wanted to write. I want to write. The truth is that I think I lost my way. The books I wrote were published before I even considered making a business of it. Before things like royalties and marketing algorithms got involved. Before

message 3: by Peter

Peter G'day Harper, I am a new Children's book author living in Australia and have released my first book in November last year. I find it difficult getting my book to be noticed by Libraries and Schools where I think it would be most beneficial for Children. Any help or suggestions that may be helpful to me would be appreciated greatly. My book is titled 'Bugs Bugs Bugs Everywhere There Are Bugs' and from the title you can tell it's all about Bugs. It's aimed towards children aged 2-5 who like or have an interest in Bugs. The simple illustrations are a little quirky and fun for all ages as adults can easily relate and enjoy them with the children. Most if not all the experiences covered in the book have happened to me or someone I know. I was born in South Australia in 1964 and moved to N.S.W. in the Hunter Valley in 1986. I have mostly worked in the Winery industry until 2004 when I was made redundant. It was only in 2005 that I started to write seriously and this was for my children. My children liked my stories so much that I decided to let others read my stories and then the local primary school. The feedback was great so I found some local Authors to see what they thought and they all told me I should continual writing and try to get it published, which was easier said than done. But I persisted and here I am and I hope you don't think it was a mistake asking me to be a friend on Goodreads! If you wish we could also be friends on Facebook as well, this is me page link if you like https://www.facebook.com/pages/Peter-... and as a added bonus my Amazon like http://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B...

Hope to here from you again and have a nice day Peter.

Fictional World Dreamer Thanks, for accepting my friend request. Hope you have a great day xo
