Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

K.D. Kinney I wish I could remember exactly how it started. The idea of Randy has been in my head for years. Eventually it became so multi-layered. Probably becau…moreI wish I could remember exactly how it started. The idea of Randy has been in my head for years. Eventually it became so multi-layered. Probably because I had so much time to think about it and develop the story before I capable of writing it. I had horses as a teen and most of the ones we had weren't easy to handle. Al the horse had to be just as much of a character as the people. My mom's family is from New Mexico so there is my family heritage tossed in. I love Annie Oakley's story and how she achieved fame from her sharpshooting skills. I have read many stories about famous outlaws and when you research them, the stories seem far-fetched or a little out there and exaggerated. Then you can see how many of those legends were born.
I love writing action and I had the most fun writing this. The love story that develops is just as important as the journey. (less)

How’s Quarantine Going for Ya?
