Luis Fraga Lo Curto and 344 other people liked Trevor's review of Orientalism:
Orientalism by Edward W. Said
"This is a fascinatingly interesting book. It is also a book that is virtually required reading if you are going to say anything at all about post-colonialism. Whether you agree or disagree with the central theme of the book is almost beside the point" Read more of this review »

“I write so slowly, I could write with my own blood and not hurt myself.”
Fran Lebowitz

Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
“The Fourteenth Book is entitled, "What can a Thoughtful Man Hope for Mankind on Earth, Given the Experience of the Past Million Years?"
It doesn't take long to read The Fourteenth Book. It consists of one word and a period.
This is it: "Nothing.”
Kurt Vonnegut, Cat’s Cradle

Etel Adnan
Etel Adnan, Sitt Marie Rose
