The working title of the book is "From Binghamton to the Big Apple." Binghamton currently has a Double-A baseball team that is affiliated with the New York Mets and an AHL hockey team that is affiliated with the Ottawa Senators. Binghamton has hosted hockey for 44 years and has 102 years of minor league baseball under its belt!(less)

Over 760 big league ballplayers performed here in Binghamton before making their mark in the big leagues. Whitey Ford, Lefty Gomez, Matt Harvey, Thurman Munson, Noah Syndergaard, and David Wright all played here.

The story is similar too in hockey, as Binghamton has hosted professional hockey since 1973. (less)
