MJ Haag is the bestselling author of the Beastly Tales and the Resurrection Chronicles. Writing as both MJ Haag and Melissa Haag, she has sold more than three hundred thousand copies worldwide and authored several other series, including the Judgement of the Six and Of Fates and Furies.

She thinks bios written in third person are hilariously pretentious and doesn't take much in life seriously, including her author photo.

She lives in Wisconsin with her three children and husband.

M.J. Haag answered A Goodreads user's question: Are any of the adult books clean ( I know that sounds super judgmental and I swear I don't mean it that way!) ? I just started reading some of your YA books and LOVE them, and I'm just curious about the steam level of these adult books. Thank you for writing! For me, "clean" is subjective, so this is difficult to answer. My YA books range from kissing/handholding to fade to black with lots of tension. M.J. Haag answered Sarah's question: I am so obsessed over the Resurrection Chronicles, so good. Although, I have a question about the place where it is set...North Texas/OKC area. Well, I have lived here for the last 3 years and the weather is so crazy, hail, wind, tornadoes and all, ...so when is that weather going to cause some chaos in the village of Tolerance? Shake that car-wall up a bit. Hmmm... I did have an ice storm at one point (can't remember which book) and hypothermia in Demon Escape. ;) But honestly, the characters were so busy trying not to die from a bite that they didn't notice the weather as much as they should have.
